Warren Skeels

Thespians marks Warren’s directorial debut. He is an emerging director who wishes to shine a little light on the fascinating aspects of our culture and experiences that most will never know. As a Jacksonville native and a former Thespian himself, the making of this film allowed him to pay tribute to his beginnings and champion the value of theatre for the high school student. His extensive background in the performing arts and film includes acting, screenwriting and producing along with directing. A graduate of the University of Southern California (BFA, Theatre, 1998), his credits include Producer, “CHOPS,” and Co-Producer, “WHO’S YOUR MONKEY.” Warren co-owns TigerLily Media where he heads up creative on all film and commercial projects.

Brenda Egedy Kolb

Brenda comes to feature film production from a long history of high-end commercial production, model and talent booking and extras casting. Producing over a hundred spots in 6 states including most of the cities in Florida set her up well to transition into the world of filmmaking. In addition to serving as Executive Producer for “THESPIANS,” Brenda’s credits include Co-Producer and Line Producer, “WHO’S YOUR MONKEY” and Associate Producer, CHOPS.” Brenda founded TigerLily Media in 2002 after she decided to call Jacksonville home. To date, she has produced over $15 million in broadcast commercials and feature films.

Lou Maggio
Executive Producer

Lou Maggio’s career has been a versatile balancing act between business and creative. While “THESPIANS” marks his debut as a documentary producer, Lou has produced two previous major motion pictures “THE YEAR OF GETTING TO KNOW US” screened at Sundance and starred Sharon Stone, Jimmy Fallon, Lucy Liu and Tom Arnold. “THE SIX WIVES OF HENRY LEFAY” featured an all-star cast including Tim Allen, Elisha Cuthbert, Andie McDowell, Jenna Elfman, Paz Vega, S. Epatha Merkerson and Chris Klein. Lou’s career began as an intern with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers public relations department before taking a position with Venus Swimwear. In his seventeen years at Venus, Lou ascended to director of photography and product promotion, facilitating the company’s growth from $2 million in sales to an excess of $130 million.

TigerLily Media, Inc.

TigerLily Media is a full service production and post production company. Since its inception in 2002, the company has become one of the fastest growing production companies in Florida. In the last several years, TigerLily Media has moved solidly into the independent filmmaking arena. Slated for a 2009 release (Virgil Entertainment with B-Side and Cinetic Media) is “CHOPS,” which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and premiering as the Audience Award at the CineVegas Film Festival, “WHO’S YOUR MONKEY,” was released by Screen Media in 2008. In addition to serving as a producing entity for independent filmmaking, TigerLily Media handles several commercial broadcast clients including the University of Baltimore, VyStar Credit Union, Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, Eyeglass World and Stereofame.
